About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Mental Health Therapist to join our team in Massachusetts. As a remote worker, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere, at any time, as long as you have a reliable internet connection. This is a part-time position, requiring a minimum of 20 hours per week, with the potential to increase hours based on client needs and your availability. Key Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Remote Mental Health Therapist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluating mental health diagnosis, creating, and implementing treatment plans, and completing ongoing documentation, including further diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, and case notes, according to company policy
  • Providing excellent customer service for clients and collaborating with a diverse, inclusive, and dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community
  • Utilizing creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed their goals
  • Preparing and submitting individual documentation for each session per company guidelines and protocol
  • Coordinating services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other staff, and school staff as needed
  • Attending and participating in all clinical staff meetings and trainings
  • Maintaining a caseload of a minimum of 10 client visits per week, with the potential to increase based on client needs and your availability

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A master's degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university
  • Independent clinical licensure (LICSW/LMHC) in Massachusetts, with LCSW and outpatient therapy experience considered
  • Experience with completing assessments, treatment plans, and clinical case notes
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
  • Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner
  • Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base
  • Proficient in the use of Office 365 and Electronic Health Record systems
  • Ability to pass a background check

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

While not essential, the following qualifications and skills are preferred:

  • Experience working with a remote team and using digital platforms for communication and collaboration
  • Knowledge of Massachusetts mental health laws and regulations
  • Experience with insurance billing and reimbursement
  • Ability to speak multiple languages
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults
