Job Overview

In this exciting role, you will provide critical support for content distribution and rights management, working closely with our global teams to ensure seamless delivery of our content to audiences around the world. As a Data Entry and Analysis Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, identifying trends, and providing insights to inform business decisions. Your expertise in data analysis, financial modeling, and contract management will be essential in driving our content distribution strategies forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide dispersion planning and analysis support for content sales to global accounts, including SVOD and DTC deals
  • Support worldwide record deal analysis and post-deal management, ensuring accurate and timely availability of all content
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Content Outreach, Business Operations, Legal, Finance, and Accounting, to ensure seamless content distribution and rights management
  • Conduct rigorous financial analysis and content valuation for all content licensing deals, working closely with regional teams to inform business decisions
  • Prepare deal summaries and exchange outlines for senior executive review and approval
  • Manage all post-entry workstreams, including drafting and sending notices, permit fee calculations, preparing receipt backups, and resource distribution
  • Track deal choices, MFNs, and expirations, ensuring compliance with complex rights holdbacks and restrictions
  • Support the management of TWDC's direct-to-consumer (DTC) services, including content valuation, market research, and competitive analysis

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, finance, or economics
  • At least 3 years of experience in the media and entertainment industry, with a focus on data analysis, financial modeling, and contract management
  • Proven expertise in financial modeling, complex financial analysis, and advanced Excel skills
  • Strong understanding of contracts, including fundamental drafting and negotiation principles
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to senior executives
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with a broad range of stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners
  • Some experience with global media distribution and content rights management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field, such as MBA or law degree
  • 5+ years of experience in the media and entertainment industry, with a focus on data analysis, financial modeling, and contract management
  • Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Knowledge of programming languages, such as Python or R
  • Certifications in data analysis or financial modeling, such as CFA or CPA
