About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Temporary Wafer Fab Operator to join our team. As a Wafer Fab Operator, you will be responsible for processing optoelectronic devices, including micro-electronics and micro-mechanical systems, in a wafer fab environment. Your primary duties will include processing wafers through various production and measurement tools, handling wafers, loading/unloading wafers, selecting tool programs, selecting recipes, and performing analytic measurements to determine if the process is in control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing of micro-electronics and micro-mechanical systems in a wafer fab environment
  • Processing wafers through various production and measurement tools in Wafer FAB Operations
  • Loading and unloading wafers from production tools
  • Selecting tool programs and recipes for processing wafers
  • Performing analytic measurements to determine if the process is in control
  • Using microscopes to evaluate the visual appearance of wafers compared to goal
  • Entering measurement data into a computer database
  • Informing management and engineers of any unexpected results
  • Adhering to Fab safety and cleanliness guidelines
  • Accurately communicating tool and lot status to colleagues on the ensuing shift

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a wafer fab environment, preferably with photolithography experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. engineering, physics, chemistry)
  • Experience with micro-electronics and micro-mechanical systems processing
  • Knowledge of Fab safety and cleanliness guidelines
  • Experience with data entry and computer database management
