Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to patient enrollment, medication management, and inventory control. You will work closely with our pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure that our patients receive the highest level of care and service. Responsibilities
As a Pharmacy Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Performing patient enrollment and registration tasks, including entering patient information into our electronic health record system.
- Managing medication orders, including processing prescriptions, filling medication orders, and verifying patient information.
- Conducting inventory control tasks, including counting and stocking medications, and monitoring inventory levels.
- Providing exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and resolving customer complaints.
- Working collaboratively with our pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure that our patients receive the highest level of care and service.
- Performing other tasks as assigned by our management team, including data entry, filing, and other administrative tasks.
Requirements
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must meet the following requirements:
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Have a minimum of one year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a retail, fulfillment, or call center environment.
- Be certified or registered as a Pharmacy Technician by the state Board of Pharmacy or a nationally recognized certification organization.
- Have excellent communication and customer service skills, including the ability to work effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
- Be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
- Be able to work an adaptable schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
We prefer candidates who have:
- Middle to advanced level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, arranging reports).
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Knowledge of pharmacy software and systems, including electronic health record systems and inventory management systems.
- Experience working with patients and healthcare professionals to resolve complex issues and concerns.

- Essential web search skills, including the ability to open a web browser, type in URLs in the correct location, use a search engine, bookmark a website, navigate using back/forward/stop buttons, and complete forms online.
- Transitional level keyboarding skills, including the ability to type at least 25 WPM, type by memory, and arrange files.
