Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our RWE Clinical Preliminaries team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, developing and maintaining client relationships, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve our business objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Client Record and Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients, ensuring timely and effective communication and issue resolution.
 - Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the verticals of RWE Clinical Preliminaries, including patient enrollment, Decentralized Clinical Trials (DCT), HEOR, and epidemiological studies.
 - Preliminaries Business: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive client account strategy and development, ensuring alignment with business objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
 - Deal Management: Proactively find and qualify valuable opportunities, including defining solutions and prescribing pricing structures to meet critical objectives.
 - Project Management: Act as the primary contact until project kick-off, then coordinate with key business areas to ensure successful execution.
 - Proposal Management: Lead and assist with the proposal response cycle, ensuring timely and effective communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
 - Bid Management: Coordinate the bid safeguard process, ensuring designated offering aligns with client goals.
 - Client Acquisition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including closing deals and increasing account penetration.
 - Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative client-facing, critical thinking environment with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and IT teams to drive business growth and market leadership.
 
Essential Capabilities
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following essential capabilities:
- Strong business development and client relationship management skills, with a focus on the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
 - Demonstrated history of creating mid- and senior-level business contacts.
 - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
 - Strong understanding of clinical trials, decentralized trials, and RWE patterns.
 - Proven ability to identify and develop new business opportunities, manage the sales cycle, and close deals.
 - Experience working with sales automation systems and Microsoft Office programs.
 - Ability to travel up to 25% of the time for business purposes, both within and outside of state.
 
Preferred Capabilities
While not essential, the following preferred capabilities would be beneficial for this role:
- Graduate degree or MBA.
 - Experience working in a similar role, with a focus on business development and client relationship management.
 - Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical/biotech industry, including trends and market dynamics.
 - Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
