Job Responsibilities

As a Senior Manager Data Scientist, you will be responsible for:
  • Overseeing complex data assembly and incorporation of large volumes of data, performing analysis, interpreting results, and creating actionable insights and recommendations for use across the organization.
  • Providing leadership and direction to various teams of data scientists and data analysts to execute the organization's data science strategy.
  • Utilizing statistical and predictive models and participating in determining analytical methodologies and presenting strategies to assess situations and forecast future outcomes.
  • Applying scientific rigor and statistical techniques to analyze large datasets, utilizing advanced statistical methods, such as predictive statistical models, customer profiling, segmentation analysis, survey design and analysis, and data mining.
  • Developing and approving hypotheses through the use of a range of advanced numerical, statistical, logical, or computational procedures, such as probability models, AI, data mining, pattern recognition, data representation, predictive analysis, data warehousing, and artificial intelligence.
  • Documenting assigned project components, including business objectives, data assembly and processing, driving methodologies, final calculation, detailed set of results, and analytical metrics.
  • Assisting in developing materials to explain project findings.
  • Raising issues and roadblocks as they occur.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and may interact with external partners to provide routine information related to assigned projects.

About the Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Manager Data Scientist with a strong background in data science, analytics, and leadership. The ideal candidate will have:
  • A Master's or Ph.D. degree in a quantitative field, such as statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of driving business outcomes through data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Strong technical skills in statistical modeling, machine learning, data mining, and data visualization.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience working with large datasets and advanced statistical software, such as R, Python, or SAS.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the healthcare industry.
