About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team on a part-time remote basis. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients and customers, handling patient enrollment, and answering high-volume customer inquiries. Key Responsibilities
- Utilize Walgreens solution information passage methodology and rules to process new patient enrollment by entering information into the appropriate system.
 - Handle patient medication requests, including entering refill orders for processing, and investigate to obtain missing medication data, and decipher clinical shortenings (SIG codes).
 - Settle all information passage-related exceptions.
 - Handle correspondence to patients (inbound calls, chats, messages) and make outbound calls to prescribers and patients as necessary.
 - Settle Outsider Oddballs by investigating, gathering data, making revisions, and resubmitting for processing as per individual arrangement necessities.
 - Provide support to pharmacists, both those in the office and those at other locations, and recognize and communicate issues to senior-level staff as necessary.
 - Obtain active professional license or certification within the first 90 days and maintain an active professional license or certification.
 
Essential Capabilities
- Essential level computer skills, including starting and closing a computer, using a mouse to point and click, starting and closing programs, switching between programs, saving files, printing reports, and accessing data online.
 - Basic web search skills, including opening a program, typing in URLs in the correct location, using a web search engine, bookmarking a website, navigating using back/forward/stop buttons, and completing forms online.
 - Intermediate level keyboarding skills, including typing at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, and arranging reports.
 - Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
 
Preferred Capabilities
- No less than one year of pharmacy professional experience in a retail or call center environment.
 - No less than one and a half years of experience as a pharmacy technician with an endorsement/enrollment by state as conceded by the state Board of Pharmacy or widely recognized certification organization.
 - Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services, and assessment of customer satisfaction.
 - Advanced level keyboarding skills, including typing at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, and organizing reports.
 - Familiarity with Spanish and English.
