You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, accessibility, and reliability for analysis and reporting purposes. You will also be responsible for collaborating with other scrum teams, QA, Product, Program Management, and Partner Operations to ensure seamless integration and delivery of data-driven solutions. **Key Responsibilities** * Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based data pipelines and ETL processes for Walmart's Supported Hunt Information Platform * Work with large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, accessibility, and reliability for analysis and reporting purposes * Develop and maintain data models for effective storage and retrieval of data * Participate in day-to-day operations to investigate production issues across cross-functional teams * Work with Docker and Kubernetes to develop and deploy containerized applications in public clouds like Google GCP and Microsoft Azure * Develop and maintain data visualizations and reports to communicate insights and trends to stakeholders * Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to develop and implement data-driven solutions * Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices and standards for data engineering **Essential Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field * 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on cloud-based data pipeline development and ETL process management * Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data visualization * Experience with cloud-based data platforms like Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure * Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes * Strong programming skills in languages like Python, Java, and Scala * Experience with data integration and ETL tools like Apache Beam and Apache NiFi * Strong understanding of data security and compliance regulations * Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams **Preferred Qualifications** * Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field * 8+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on cloud-based data pipeline development and ETL process management * Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop and Spark * Experience with data lakes and data warehouses * Experience with data governance and data quality frameworks * Strong understanding of DevOps practices and tools like Jenkins and GitLab * Experience with cloud-based security and compliance frameworks like AWS IAM and Azure AD **Skills and Competencies** * Strong understanding of data engineering principles and practices * Excellent programming skills in languages like Python, Java, and Scala * Experience with cloud-based data platforms like Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure * Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes * Strong understanding of data integration and ETL tools like Apache Beam and Apache NiFi * Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues * Strong understanding of data security and compliance regulations * Experience with data governance and data quality frameworks **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At Walmart Worldwide Tech, we believe in investing in our employees and providing them with the opportunities they need to grow and develop their careers.
