Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced and patient-focused pharmacist to join our team in Arizona. Position OverviewPosition Overview
As a Staff Pharmacist at Walmart, you'll be at the forefront of patient interactions, building relationships, and providing personalized care. You'll have the opportunity to share your clinical expertise and work to the highest level of your licensure. Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient-focused care, adjusting to a diverse patient base with varying clinical needs and concerns
 - Ensure accurate and timely medication dispensing, vaccinations, and other pharmacy services
 - Lead by example, promoting a culture of excellence and patient satisfaction among pharmacy staff
 - Stay up-to-date on new and emerging medical issues, using this knowledge to inform patient care and community outreach
 - Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure seamless patient care and efficient operations
 - Participate in community events and health fairs, promoting healthy lifestyles and disease prevention
 - Contribute to the development and implementation of pharmacy programs and services
 
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution
 - Current licensure as a pharmacist in the state of Arizona
 - At least 2 years of experience in a retail pharmacy setting
 - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
 - Ability to work independently and as part of a team
 - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
 - Proficiency in pharmacy software and technology
 
Preferred Qualifications
We're looking for candidates with:
- Experience in a leadership or supervisory role
 - Specialized training in areas such as immunizations, disease management, or medication therapy management
 - Fluency in multiple languages
 - Experience with pharmacy software and technology, including automated dispensing systems
