If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as an Experienced Full Stack Software Engineer – Web & Cloud Application Development for Walmart's Global Supply Chain and Logistics. Based in our vibrant remote office, this role is available now, and we are offering a competitive salary of $35/hour.

As a member of our team, you will work with Walmart's global supply chain groups to identify, design, and execute automation solutions that improve operations, fulfillment, and transportation services. Our goal is to utilize a wide range of technologies, from automation to fully digital solutions, including mechanical technology and augmented reality, to deliver improved operational support and efficiency, while also reducing variable costs to serve.

Responsibilities

As an Experienced Full Stack Software Engineer – Web & Cloud Application Development for Walmart's Global Supply Chain and Logistics, your responsibilities will include:

  • Directly impacting automation project decisions and plans for each Walmart market (country) to incorporate solutions and capital investment required to achieve operational objectives
  • Assembling business cases that are CEO-ready to show the need for the change/expansion of resources
  • Impact and lead projects to investigate, design, approve, and implement technology into stores, distribution, and fulfillment centers across various global markets
  • Find new tech and automation in the supply chain space, and influence the development lab to test and vet new innovation and vendors to evaluate fit with Walmart activities and systems
  • Define and instruct market groups and leaders on Automation Best Practices, including Office Configuration, Interaction Stream, and End2end influences on the Store network (Upstream-Downstream)
  • Foster market groups, both officially and individually, to know how to identify operational needs and then test, pilot, and scale new automation technology

What You'll Bring

To be successful in this role, you will need to bring the following skills and experience:

  • Shown experience identifying automation solutions, designing process designs applied, and detailed planning for automation solutions and administering the establishment of solutions into operations
  • Knowledge of material handling cycles and automation solutions available across the business
  • Working knowledge of automation suppliers and their solution capabilities
  • Ability to work with and influence internal leaders and design teams across markets/societies
  • Ability to make mutually beneficial associations with outside automation vendors to enable collaborative development of new solutions
