**Key Responsibilities**
As a Customer Service Specialist at blithequark, you'll play a critical role in ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service and support. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Initiating conversations with customers, discussing their plans, and suggesting products that meet their needs and exceed their expectations
* Providing exceptional customer service that goes above and beyond what's expected, including resolving issues and answering questions in a timely and professional manner
* Maintaining the assigned areas of the store stocked, clean, and secure, ensuring that customers can shop seamlessly and safely

* Processing customer transactions using our POS system, handling refunds and exchanges, and accepting payment through various methods
* Developing pricing labels and promotional displays, managing stocks, labeling, and showcasing products in a visually appealing way
* Demonstrating and validating compliance with company safety protocols and adhering to standard practices for handling customer refunds and exchanges
* Being available to assist in any department of the store, as needed, and achieving excellence in a fast-paced environment with precision
**Essential Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:
* Be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent
* Have prior experience in customer support or a related field
* Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
* Be able to multitask efficiently and deliver excellent results even in stressful situations
* Possess basic math skills and be able to accurately handle cash, process transactions, and manage inventory
* Be available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
**Preferred Qualifications**

* Previous experience in retail or a related field

* Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems
* Ability to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally and 20-30 pounds frequently
