**Experienced Crisis Intervention Specialist – Remote Chat/Text Crisis Support for 24/7/365 Mental Health Services**

**Job Summary**
As an Experienced Crisis Intervention Specialist, you will be responsible for providing telephonic or chat clinical screenings and risk assessments, answering crisis contacts via the chat/text platform, and conducting follow-up calls for individuals who are deemed moderate to high risk for suicide. You will also be required to meet the ethical and clinical standards in compliance with all accreditation, actively participate in ongoing supervision, training, and team meetings, and assist in administrative tasks as needed.
**Responsibilities**
* Provides telephonic or chat clinical screenings and risk assessments for individuals experiencing emotional distress
* Answers crisis contacts via the chat/text platform to assess for suicide, safety, and identify appropriate community resources to best meet individual needs
* Conducts follow-up calls for individuals who are deemed moderate to high risk for suicide
* Meets the ethical and clinical standards in compliance with all accreditation
* Actively participates in ongoing supervision, training, and team meetings
* Assists in administrative tasks as needed
**Requirements**
* Bachelor's degree in behavioral science, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
* Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) certification
* Six months to one year of related crisis experience
* Effective communication skills via written, verbal, in-person, and virtual methods
* Demonstrated high-level customer service skills and professional etiquette
* Knowledge and competency in providing service linkage and referrals for programs, services, and other community resources
* Knowledge of suicide assessments and skill in providing crisis intervention

**Compensation**
* Pay range: $19.10 - $26.80 per hour
