The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and driven leader to join our team as a Full Stack Android Engineer. As a key member of our native app development team, you will be responsible for leading the improvement of in-depth mobile initiatives surrounding upper-funnel capability, architecting and developing new features, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a frictionless and excellent purchasing experience for our customers. Job Responsibilities
- Lead improvement for in-depth mobile initiatives surrounding upper-funnel capability such as homepage, sales, class, authentication, and landing stories
- Architect and develop new features, software protection, and refactoring, and accelerate performance and automation
- Review code and offer guidance for other builders participating in our launch approval system
- Use statistics and metrics to collaboratively drive impactful changes
- Frequently interface and engage with first-rate, UX, lower back-stop/API, product, analytics, and other teams
- Collaborate with iOS and full-stack teams to ensure answers are robust and aligned
- Lead by example; share information, experience, and best practices through mentoring, tech talks, and shows
Essential Qualifications
- At least 2+ years of expert Android improvement on publicly available apps
- A passion for writing clean, readable, and carefully tested code, and an eagerness to share your knowledge with others
- A mastery of Android basics, interacting with endpoints, debugging, and memory control
- Experience having architected or designed complex features with product managers or other stakeholders
- A deep understanding of structure patterns including MVP, MVVM, Clean/VIPER, and so forth, as well as a sync patterns
- A ability to learn new libraries and technologies, live on the cutting edge of the evolving mobile landscape, and a fervor to create reports that will pride users
- A real belief that positive and respectful code reviews are the bedrock of a healthy crew
- Expertise of material design, Android UI/UX development, and best practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Graphlet
- Ruby or similar scripting languages
- Running go-platform with iOS and/or complete-stack
