Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and develop a team of branch managers to ensure an outstanding customer and team experience, manage risk, and support growth across multiple branch locations
  • Identify and recommend process improvement opportunities to partners, ensuring that partners are aligned with relevant guidelines, policy, and strategy requirements, operational expectations, audit, and escalation processes
  • Determine appropriate strategies and actions of the regional banking team to meet regional office objectives
  • Interpret and communicate branch performance goals, and lead groundbreaking changes in the district
  • Collaborate with partners, peers, and other leaders to understand trends in the business and execute strategies in alignment with internal objectives while managing risk
  • Oversee the assignment of personnel and financial resources for Local Banking
  • Create and direct a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy

Essential Qualifications

  • 3+ years of banking or customer service experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • Experience driving the execution of business strategies to support an exceptional customer experience, high-performing teams, and growth in the business
  • Management experience, including hiring, coaching, and developing direct reports
  • Ability to manage directors effectively
  • Experience managing specialty units in multiple locations

  • Experience building and maintaining effective relationships with clients and internal partners
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to represent Wells Fargo in the community effectively
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are essential
  • Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism with clients and colleagues
  • Ability to effectively manage time and competing needs, exercise independent judgment, and use sound decision-making skills
