Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Engaging Online Instruction: Develop and deliver high-quality online courses within our healthcare program, ensuring students receive a comprehensive education in Health Information Management (HIM) and Coding.
 - Facilitate Interactive Sessions: Facilitate bi-weekly interactive sessions via Zoom to foster student participation, engagement, and collaboration.
 - Maintain Flexible Availability: Maintain a flexible availability for office hours and personalized student meetings to enhance learning experiences and provide support.
 - Provide Constructive Feedback: Provide constructive feedback on students' academic achievements, including quizzes, tests, homework, and projects, to help them grow and improve.
 - Engage with At-Risk Students: Proactively engage with at-risk students to boost involvement and offer support, ensuring they stay on track and achieve their goals.
 - Record Student Attendance and Performance: Keep precise records of student attendance and performance, ensuring compliance with institutional grading standards.

Required Skills
- Proven Experience in HIM: Proven experience in Health Information Management (HIM) is essential for this role, demonstrating your expertise and ability to deliver high-quality instruction.
 - Virtual Teaching Tools and Software: Proficiency with virtual teaching tools and various software applications, including Microsoft Office, Canvas, Cvue, Gmail, and Zoom, is required for effective online instruction.
 - Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with students during live sessions, ensuring a positive and engaging learning experience.
 
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration or Related Discipline: A Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Medical Science, or a related discipline is required for this position.
 - Minimum of Three Years of Experience in HIM: A minimum of three years of experience in Health Information Management (HIM) is necessary for this role, demonstrating your expertise and ability to deliver high-quality instruction.
 - Preferred Qualifications: Preferred qualifications include RHIT or RHIA certification, CPC or CCS credentials, and prior experience in online instruction.
