About the Role

As a Data Entry Clerk at blithequark, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our database. You will be responsible for typing information into our database from paper documents, researching new accounts, and enriching company information. Your exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills will enable you to provide high-quality support to our data management team. You will report to a senior data team member and work closely with other stakeholders to ensure seamless data management operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research new accounts and enrich company information to maintain up-to-date and accurate data
  • Perform routine database maintenance tasks, including imports, data entry, and contact merges
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our subscriber community, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Compile standard promotional list pulls using multi-field, multi-value, and advanced logic to support business development initiatives
  • Process renewal tip-ons, including scanning, qualification, data entry, and filing to ensure timely and accurate processing
  • Evaluate title and agency functions to code demographic information and maintain data consistency
  • Verify a high volume of contact roles weekly to maintain an up-to-date directory of contacts and ensure data accuracy
  • Locate contacts through websites and external directories or lists to support business development and sales initiatives
  • Coordinate gift card distribution for incentivized projects and provide support with custom projects as needed

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a data entry clerk, with a strong track record of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Fast typing skills, with a strong preference for knowledge of touch typing systems
  • Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets, including MS Office Word and Excel
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, computer hardware, and peripheral devices
  • Basic understanding of databases and data management principles
  • Good command of English, both oral and written, with excellent customer service skills
  • Great attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • High school degree or equivalent required
