About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Human Resources Manager to join our team at American Airlines. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you'll play a vital role in shaping our organization's talent development and employee relations strategies. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic talent development programs to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to design and execute employee relations initiatives that drive engagement, retention, and productivity.
  • Provide expert guidance and advice to senior leaders on HR-related matters, including talent management, succession planning, and diversity and inclusion.
  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams to deliver HR projects and initiatives, ensuring timely and high-quality results.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with employees, managers, and stakeholders to promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and excellence in HR practices.
  • Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge, including diversity and inclusion, leadership development, and performance management.
  • Conduct investigations and provide recommendations on employee relations matters, including disciplinary actions, grievances, and workplace conflicts.
  • Develop and implement metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other departments to drive business growth, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance the overall employee experience.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in HR, with a focus on talent development, employee relations, and strategic HR.
  • Proven experience in managing cross-functional teams and delivering high-quality results.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and develop actionable insights.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of industry trends and best practices.
  • PHR/SPHR certification or willingness to obtain.

Preferred Qualifications

We're looking for candidates with:

  • A master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of state and federal employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, NLRB, and Title VII.
  • Experience with HR information systems, including Workday, ADP, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Experience with diversity and inclusion initiatives, including training and development programs.
