About the Role
We're seeking an experienced and highly motivated Amazon Account Director to join our remote team. As a key member of our organization, you'll be responsible for managing and growing our existing global business, leveraging your expertise in Amazon 1P (reseller) relationships, and driving long-term strategy while executing day-to-day tasks. Your success will be measured by achieving quarterly sales objectives, and you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with various departments, present results to the management team, and develop creative product listings within Amazon's A+ Premium guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow our existing global business, leveraging Amazon 1P experience and expertise
 - Develop and execute long-term strategy, while executing day-to-day tasks
 - Collaborate with other departments, including Sales, Sales Operations, and Product Development
 - Present results and future needs to the management team
 - Meet quarterly sales objectives, with a focus on continuous improvement and results-oriented approach
 - Manage agency resources on a day-to-day basis, ensuring overall sales success
 - Provide input on inventory forecasting and new product releases/features
 - Analyze sales patterns, identifying trends and flagging anomalies for review
 
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Proven experience managing Amazon 1P (reseller) relationships
 - Proven track record of meeting quarterly sales goals
 - Knowledge of operating within Vendor Central
 - Strong financial acumen, including profitability analysis of Amazon's different ordering types
 - Strong analytical skills, with attention to detail, diligence, and organization
 - Strong negotiation skills (AVN)
 - Ability to multi-task, communicate, and collaborate with internal teams, and adapt to shifting priorities
 
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:
- Ecommerce experience and marketplace knowledge beyond Amazon
 - Bachelor's degree in business or marketing
