Remote, USA Full-time Posted 2025-11-03

Why Join Once Upon a Farm?

Once Upon a Farm is on a mission to rewrite the story of childhood nutrition. We create organic, non‑GMO, dairy‑free snacks and meals that are free from added sugar, artificial flavors, colors, and preservatives. Our products are crafted from whole fruits and vegetables, cold‑pressed or flash‑frozen to preserve every nutrient. By delivering real, wholesome food from farm to fridge, we empower parents to nourish their children’s bodies and souls.

Our purpose goes beyond delicious food – we champion sustainable farming, support food justice, and foster a culture of humility, honesty, and fun. As a fully remote, purpose‑driven organization, we attract independent thinkers who are passionate about making a positive social impact while thriving in an entrepreneurial, collaborative environment.

Role Overview: Amazon Marketplace Growth Leader

We are looking for a seasoned Amazon business professional to own and accelerate the growth of our 3P (third‑party) presence on Amazon and other e‑commerce marketplaces. Reporting to the Director of E‑Commerce and Omnichannel Marketing, you will shape strategy, drive profitable expansion, and partner across finance, operations, creative, and media teams to deliver best‑in‑class online experiences for our brand.

This is a remote‑first role with occasional travel (up to 15% annually) for company gatherings, strategy workshops, and cross‑functional summits. If you are a data‑driven growth strategist who loves rolling up your sleeves and turning insight into action, this is the opportunity to take your career to the next level.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Develop and own a multi‑year Amazon growth roadmap that aligns with overall brand objectives and revenue targets.
  • Design and implement assortment plans, including ASIN creation, variation strategy, and product launch calendars.
  • Lead the development of trade‑spend budgets, promotional calendars, and pricing strategies to maximize profitability and market share.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to maintain the Amazon portion of the e‑commerce P&L, tracking revenue, cost of goods sold, advertising spend, and fulfilment expenses.

Day‑to‑Day Amazon Operations

  • Serve as the primary point of contact with Amazon Seller Central, managing tickets, ensuring correct chargebacks, and resolving policy or performance issues.
  • Partner with internal creative teams to produce compelling product detail pages (PDP), A+ Enhanced Brand Content, and storefront experiences that boost conversion rates.
  • Maintain an ongoing SEO/keyword optimisation programme to improve organic visibility and increase click‑through and conversion metrics.
  • Coordinate with the external media agency to execute Amazon Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Products, and Sponsored Display campaigns, monitoring ROI and adjusting tactics in real time.
  • Work side‑by‑side with operations to monitor inventory health, forecast demand, manage shipments, and oversee customer communications.

Analytics, Forecasting & Reporting

  • Produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance dashboards in partnership with data analysts, highlighting growth opportunities, risk areas, and actionable insights.
  • Drive SKU‑level sales forecasting, incorporating seasonality, promotional uplift, and market trends.
  • Track competitor activity, third‑party seller dynamics, and potential buy‑box threats, proactively implementing mitigation strategies such as Brand Registry enforcement or pricing adjustments.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Leadership

  • Foster strong relationships with finance, supply chain, product development, and sustainability teams to embed e‑commerce considerations into broader business decisions.
  • Lead brand store strategy, coordinating layout, content, and merchandising initiatives with internal stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior analysts or associate managers, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; an MBA is a distinct advantage.
  • Experience: Minimum 6 years managing Amazon 3P businesses, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and profitability.
  • Marketplace Expertise: Deep understanding of Amazon Seller Central, FBA & FBM models, ASIN creation, A+ content, Vine programs, and Buy Box mechanics.
  • Performance Marketing Insight: Hands‑on experience planning, executing, and optimizing Amazon Sponsored ads and other paid media channels.
  • Analytical Acumen: Ability to translate large data sets into strategic recommendations; proficiency with Excel, PowerBI, or similar tools.
  • CPG Knowledge: Experience within the food, beverage, or consumer packaged goods sector; exposure to cold‑chain logistics is a plus.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting to senior leadership and external partners.
  • Location: Must reside in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Attributes

  • Experience working with Whole Foods on Amazon or similar premium retail‑online integrations.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate cross‑functional projects involving sustainability initiatives and e‑commerce integration.
  • Familiarity with collaboration platforms such as Slack, Microsoft Teams, and project‑management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com).
  • Passion for child nutrition, organic agriculture, and social impact—aligned with Once Upon a Farm’s purpose.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments with a bias toward action and decisive judgment.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to see the big picture while executing granular tactics.
  • Digital Marketing Savvy: Proficiency in SEO, paid search, and Amazon advertising ecosystems.
  • Financial Literacy: Understanding of margin drivers, cost structures, and P&L stewardship.
  • Project Management: Skilled at juggling multiple initiatives, meeting deadlines, and delivering results.
  • Collaboration: Strong team player who builds trust across functions and external agencies.
  • Adaptability: Thrives in a remote‑first setting, self‑motivated, and comfortable with occasional travel.

Compensation, Benefits & Perks

We recognize and reward high performance with a competitive total‑reward package:

  • Base Salary: $120,000 – $140,000 annually, commensurate with experience, expertise, and geographic location.
  • Variable Pay: Annual performance bonus tied to individual and company targets.
  • Equity Opportunities: Stock options or equity grants for eligible employees.
  • Retirement Savings: 401(k) plan with a 4% company match after three months of service.
  • Health & Wellness: 100% employer‑paid medical coverage (selected plans), vision and dental coverage for employee and dependents, life insurance, and flexible spending accounts.
  • Paid Time Off: Unlimited PTO, paid parental leave (up to 18 weeks), paid volunteer days, and paid civic‑duty leave (jury duty, voting).
  • Remote‑Work Stipends: Monthly cell and internet allowance, new‑hire remote‑life stipend, and quarterly “Farm‑to‑Fridge” home deliveries of Once Upon a Farm products.
  • Family Support: Baby‑Steps back‑to‑work program, three months of product supply for new parents, and breast‑milk shipping assistance for traveling parents.
  • Professional Development: Access to learning platforms, conference budgets, and internal mentorship programs.

Work Environment & Company Culture

Our remote‑first model is built on transparency, trust, and collaboration. Even though we work from home, we stay connected through weekly video huddles, monthly virtual coffee chats, and quarterly in‑person gatherings that celebrate milestones and reinforce our shared purpose.

Core cultural pillars include:

  • Purpose‑Driven Impact: Every role contributes directly to improving childhood nutrition and advancing food justice.
  • Inclusive Belonging: We celebrate diverse perspectives, encourage authentic self‑expression, and actively eliminate bias throughout our hiring and promotion processes.
  • Innovation & Agility: Teams are empowered to experiment, iterate, and champion bold ideas that move the brand forward.
  • Humility & Fun: While we take our mission seriously, we also make space for laughter, creativity, and personal connection.
