The Role and Responsibilities
As a Guest Service Associate, you will support the Disney Retail Guest Service Contact Center operation and report to the Sr. Manager Guest Services – NA Region. Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Monitoring daily operational performance of Disney Retail Guest Experience
• Providing effective real-time reaction to business performance, landscapes, and opportunities in the retail and ecommerce ecosystems
• Delivering elevated level service to guests by answering calls, emails, and chat messages in a high-touch Guest Services approach
• Providing product and voice of guest feedback to influence potential product enhancements
• Overseeing daily workflow prioritization, handling of guest interactions, and recovery in their post-purchase journey
Key Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential skills and qualifications:
Essential Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Capacity to solve complex situations and de-escalate guests
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and seek solutions to problems confidently
• Proficiency with Microsoft products
• Excellent conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
• Experience handling confidential information
• Flexible scheduling availability, which may include weekends, nights, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
• Extensive knowledge of applications such as Guest Service Suite, Zendesk, and Avaya
• Previous WDW experience in a Guest Service and/or Retail role
• Verbal and written bilingual abilities
