About the Role: Data Entry and IT Infrastructure Engineer

We're seeking an experienced Data Entry and IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. As a remote worker, you'll have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home, with a competitive salary of $28 per hour. In this role, you'll be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to our IT infrastructure team, ensuring the smooth operation of our systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise and support to our IT infrastructure team, including server administration, network management, and application support
  • Design, implement, and maintain our IT infrastructure, including cloud-based systems and applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues, and implement process improvements
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system diagrams, process maps, and user guides
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in IT infrastructure, and make recommendations for improvements and upgrades
  • Provide training and support to junior team members, and contribute to the development of our IT infrastructure team

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure, including server administration, network management, and application support
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Linux, Windows, and cloud-based technologies such as Azure, AWS, or IBM Cloud
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and support

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

While not essential, the following qualifications and skills are preferred:

  • A master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, including server administration, network management, and application support
  • Advanced technical skills, including proficiency in DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
  • Experience with IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
