About the Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join our Global Merchant and Network Services (GM&NS) Pricing team. As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for forecasting and reporting merchant discount revenue, creating scorecards, and driving standardization and process improvement across regional pricing groups. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Creating a Canada forecast for merchant discount revenue and tracking monthly performance against forecast
• Identifying drivers of variance and developing strategies to address them
• Creating merchant discount revenue scorecards for the Canada region
• Driving standardization and process improvement across regional pricing groups
• Supporting external audits and performing ad-hoc data analysis to assess discount price trends and uncover insights

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• 2+ years of experience in financial services or payments industry, and/or other finance-related roles
• A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business
• High skill level with Excel and strong analytical skills
• Ability to develop complex financial models and draw value-added insights from large quantities of financial data
• Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., SAS, SQL) is required
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Strong relationship management and collaboration skills with the ability to influence others
• Strong work ethic with an extreme will-to-win and ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment

• Experience working in a global organization with a diverse community of colleagues
• Knowledge of merchant pricing and discount revenue models
• Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
