Our client is seeking a dedicated and highly organized Remote Logistics and Supply Chain Coordinator to manage and optimize the flow of goods for our operations. This fully remote position, supporting teams globally, requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of logistics, inventory management, and supply chain processes. You will be instrumental in ensuring timely delivery, managing transportation partners, and maintaining efficient inventory levels. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and manage all aspects of the supply chain, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and order fulfillment. Liaise with carriers, freight forwarders, and other logistics providers to schedule shipments and negotiate rates. Monitor shipments in transit, providing real-time updates to internal teams and customers. Track inventory levels across multiple locations, ensuring accuracy and minimizing stockouts or overstock situations. Process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, customs forms, and proof of delivery. Resolve logistics-related issues, such as delays, damages, or discrepancies, in a timely and effective manner. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations. Utilize logistics software and systems to track shipments, manage inventory, and analyze performance data. Identify opportunities for process improvements within the logistics and supply chain functions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations and customs requirements. Prepare reports on key logistics metrics, such as on-time delivery rates, transportation costs, and inventory accuracy. Communicate effectively with team members and external partners across different time zones in a remote setting. Qualifications: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain coordination, or a similar role. Proficiency in using logistics software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Strong understanding of transportation modes, customs procedures, and international shipping regulations. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively in a remote environment. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams. Experience with inventory management principles and practices.
