If so, this could be a dream opportunity! We're a pre-launch startup making playful, chef-crafted spice mixes that help people cook globally loved dishes like pho and Bo Kho, at home. We're building a brand that celebrates flavor and culture not by simplifying the story, but by inviting people in. Our goal is to make global dishes approachable guided by real chefs who know and love these cuisines. The Role We're looking for a Culinary Director / Recipe Developer with deep expertise in Vietnamese cuisine. You'll lead the development of authentic, shelf-stable spice blends for signature dishes, collaborating with our founding team on flavor profiles, ingredient sourcing, and recipe storytelling. This role blends product creation, cultural storytelling, and (if you're game) occasional on-camera appearances for short-form content. What You'll Do - Develop and test spice mixes for dishes like pho and Bo Kho. - Translate authentic flavor systems into simple, dry formulations suitable for retail. - Write easy-to-follow cooking instructions for home cooks. - Work closely with our packaging and R D partners to ensure flavor stability and accuracy. - Contribute to brand storytelling cultural context, usage ideas, and playful education. - Join occasional content shoots, podcasts, or events to represent the brand voice (optional but encouraged). What You Bring - Deep knowledge of Vietnamese flavor foundations. - Curiosity about ingredient science (how things behave when dehydrated, ground, or blended). - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - A sense of humor and cultural pride you care about representation and flavor. - (Nice-to-have) Comfort on camera or experience creating social food content.
