Job Overview
As the Customer Service Manager at blithequark, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring that customers are happy, team members are satisfied, and profits are maximized. You will be responsible for providing strategic direction to our restaurant staff, overseeing various operations, including performance management, scheduling, policy compliance, recruitment and selection, employee discipline, coaching and training, and performance evaluations.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing strategic direction to restaurant staff to ensure that customers receive exceptional service and that team members are motivated and engaged
- Overseeing various operations, including performance management, scheduling, policy compliance, recruitment and selection, employee discipline, coaching and training, and performance evaluations
- Managing financial matters, such as inventory control, forecasting productivity, financial reporting, managing costs related to the sale of goods and services, and managing the cost of labor
- Attaining financial targets and implementing strategies to drive sales growth and increase profitability
- Implementing promotional tactics at a local level and executing marketing campaigns to drive customer engagement and loyalty
- Making morning deposits at the bank and managing cash reserves to ensure that the restaurant is financially stable
- Handling financial setbacks and developing strategies to mitigate risks and minimize losses
- Ensuring compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and implementing measures to reduce the likelihood of workplace accidents and injuries
- Monitoring competitor activity, market developments, and expansion plans to stay ahead of the competition
- Maintaining uniformity across all blithequark products and services by executing established standards
- Developing and implementing strategies to overcome common customer service challenges and ensure that customers receive exceptional service
- Building strong relationships with suppliers and managing orders effectively to ensure that the restaurant is well-stocked and running smoothly
- Serving as the primary liaison between the District Manager and other market leaders, including store managers and team leaders, and actively engaging in communication to ensure that operational plans are executed seamlessly
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have at least three years of experience in a restaurant or food industry-related setting, combined with prior experience leading a team. You will also need to have effective communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a talent for coaching and development. Additionally, you will need to have strong analytical skills, a fundamental understanding of mathematics and accounting, and a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
