About the Role: Your Mission as a Content Planning Manager
As the Content Planning Manager, you will be the linchpin that ensures Disney+ ’s content slate is meticulously tracked, strategically aligned, and flawlessly executed across all markets. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Content Planning, you’ll own the day‑to‑day cadence of slate updates, provide clear communication pathways between stakeholders, and help design scalable processes that keep our programming initiatives ahead of the curve.

Key Responsibilities
- Daily Slate Tracking & Governance: Oversee the end‑to‑end tracking of every piece of content—from acquisition and production status to release windows—ensuring that all updates are captured accurately in our planning tools.
 - Stakeholder Coordination: Partner with senior leaders across Finance, Operations, Studios, Networks, and International Programming to align on programming intent, budget implications, and timeline feasibility.
 - Strategic Communication: Craft clear, concise summaries, decks, and status reports for executive leadership, translating complex data into compelling narratives that drive decision‑making.
 - Process Development & Scaling: Support the Sr. Manager in designing frameworks, templates, and best‑practice processes that enable global slate planning to scale efficiently as our content library expands.
 - Ad‑hoc Projects & Innovation: Lead special initiatives such as competitive analysis, content performance dashboards, or pilot programs that explore new ways to optimize slate utilization.
