Key Responsibilities and Expectations

  • Respond to inbound calls, emails, or chats from customers, providing timely and effective solutions to their queries and concerns related to credit-related memberships, services, and product offerings.
  • Interpret and address customer grievances or disputes, offering personalized support and educating them on credit bureau processes and the necessary steps to request corrections.
  • Receive and process customer requests for assistance, identifying the support needed, and either resolving the issue directly or escalating it to the relevant functional area.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues, ensuring seamless communication and prompt resolution.
  • Stay up-to-date with Experian's products, services, and policies, maintaining a deep understanding of our offerings and their benefits to customers.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge, ensuring you remain equipped to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Essential Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • At least one year of customer service experience, preferably in a remote or call center environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with customers and provide personalized support.
  • Comfortable using computers and technology to perform operations, with proficiency in software applications and tools.
  • Reliable high-speed internet service (minimum 25 mbps download/ 5 mbps upload) and a dedicated workspace for remote work.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check, employment verification, education verification, credit check, and a drug screen.
  • Flexibility to work remotely, with the ability to commute to Van Buren, AR, if required, and a willingness to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

While not essential, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable:

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the financial services or credit industry.
  • Knowledge of credit reporting and credit scoring, with an understanding of credit bureau processes and regulations.
