**Experienced Director, Peer to Peer Giving – Strategic Fundraising and Development Leadership for a National Nonprofit Organization (Remote)**

About the Role
We're on the hunt for a highly skilled and motivated Director, Peer to Peer Giving to lead our Peer to Peer development program. As a key member of our development team, you'll be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring a comprehensive Peer to Peer program that aligns with MADD's strategic goals at national, state, and local levels. Your primary focus will be on driving significant fundraising and development pipeline growth through key strategies supporting MADD's mission, individual donations, third-party events, memorial and honor giving.
Responsibilities
- Mentor the development team in Peer to Peer fundraising: Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture that encourages innovation and excellence in fundraising.
 - Develop and implement a diversified, comprehensive Peer to Peer development plan: Align with the organization's strategic priorities and drive aggressive growth in fundraising revenues through core strategies in the Peer to Peer Program.
 - Collaborate with the Chief Development/Revenue Officer: Set annual fundraising goals and ensure strategies are in place to achieve them, while working closely with the marketing team to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all fundraising and public awareness activities.
 - Lead the development and execution of public awareness/DIY campaigns: Support fundraising objectives and elevate the organization's profile within the community, while ensuring compliance with all legal, ethical, and organizational policies related to fundraising activities.
 - Collaborate with the Director of Individual Giving: Create compelling, donor-centered communication materials, including proposals, reports, and updates to team captains/Peer to Peer Fundraisers.
 - Provide training and support to staff and volunteers: Enhance their fundraising capabilities and understanding of Peer to Peer best practices, while staying informed of philanthropy and nonprofit fundraising trends and integrating new ideas and approaches into the organization's development strategies.
 - Continuously evaluate and improve Peer to Peer fundraising programs: Seek opportunities to increase efficiency and effectiveness, while performing other duties as assigned.
 
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field: A strong foundation in nonprofit management, business administration, communications, or a related field is essential for this role.
 - Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising: A proven track record of successful fundraising results through Peer to Peer fundraising programs is required.
 - Strong knowledge of fundraising principles, strategies, and best practices: A deep understanding of fundraising principles, strategies, and best practices is crucial for this role.
 - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills: The ability to build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including donors, volunteers, and staff, is essential.
 - Demonstrated success in cultivating and stewarding relationships with individual and institutional donors: A proven track record of cultivating and stewarding relationships with individual and institutional donors is required.
 - Strong organizational skills: The ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines is essential.
 - Proven leadership and team management capabilities: The ability to inspire and motivate others, while leading a high-performing team, is crucial for this role.
 - High level of initiative, creativity, and problem-solving skills: The ability to think critically, creatively, and strategically is essential for this role.
 - Proficiency in using fundraising software, databases, and CRM systems: Experience with fundraising software, databases, and CRM systems is required.
