As a Music Assistant, you will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about music and committed to excellence. **Job Summary** We are seeking an experienced Music Assistant to join our team at Disney's Music Division. As a Music Assistant, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including: * Maintaining and updating music metadata and sound resources in our prompt sheet management system * Assisting with the registration of ESPN's copyrighted music and association of copyright metadata * Managing the storage, organization, and update of digital metadata for tracking and adaptation * Altering music cuts for topical, business, and library music packages * Working with Music Coordinators to arrange, collect, and distribute series/seasonal music packages for allocated productions * Assisting with the planning, recording, dealing, and association of music licenses and related music documentation * Inputting tune and license fee data for cleared third-party songs into our departmental database * Providing sign sheet support, including the approval of music cue sheets, assistance of cue sheets to licensors, consistent reporting for all ESPN organizations, and delivery of ESPN cue sheets to affiliated networks or distributors * Arranging updates from creation music libraries, tracking usage, and liaising with creation contacts at the libraries * Assisting with the acquisition and tracking of actual sound media * Maintaining the office's Music Asset site * Responsible for the association, maintenance, and support of the Music Division's sound equipment * Transferring music from physical CDs to digital files for storage in digital archives * Demonstrating the ability to train new employees on the division's essential capabilities, cue sheet management system, and organizational systems currently in use * Assisting others in the music group with other music-related projects and tasks, as needed * Assisting with the planning of clearance demands, reporting, correspondence, and permitting arrangements, as needed **Responsibilities** * Works with others in the Music staff on the execution of the organization's music techniques and strategies by ESPN Content * Put together and input sound resources and music signal metadata into the cue sheet management system for all ESPN organizations * Aid the registration of ESPN's copyrighted music and association of copyright metadata * The board of the storage, organization, update, and ingesting of digital metadata for tracking and adaptation * Alters music cuts for topical, business, and library music packages, depending on the situation * Work with Music Coordinators to arrange, collect, and convey series/seasonal music packages for allocated productions * Aids the planning, recording, dealing, and association of music licenses and related music documentation * Input tune and license fee data for cleared third-party songs into the departmental database * Sign sheet support includes, but is not limited to, the approval of music cue sheets, assistance of cue sheets to licensors, consistent reporting for all ESPN organizations, and delivery of ESPN cue sheets to affiliated networks presently being used * Helps others in the music group with other music-related ventures and undertakings, depending on the situation * Aids the planning of clearance demands, reporting, correspondence, and permitting arrangements, depending on the situation **Requirements** * Should work second shift and End of the week * Astounding verbal and written communication skills * Focus on projects based on time and resources available * Exhibited organizational and relational skills and capacities required * Knowledge of both Macintosh and PC operating systems required, including capability in MS Word and MS Excel * High school diploma or equivalent required * Favored qualifications: + Ability to work sound/video equipment and recording gear, including Truck, ENCO, and CD duplication and different advanced media software + Experience using Adobe Audition sound-altering software or comparable DAW + Experience using WordPress or comparable Content Management System + At least 2 years of school with some professional experience or grasping connected with broadcast, technical tasks, library science, or music foundations + Spanish capability **What We Offer** *
