We believe that our Employees are the driving force behind our success, and we strive to provide them with the same concern, respect, and caring attitude that they are expected to share with our customers. **Job Summary** The Technology SCM Category Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of Technology suppliers that support blithequark's Air Operations groups, including Flight Operations, Network Operations Control, and Inflight Operations. This role requires a trusted advisor who can support complex and high-value contracts, work with cross-functional Teams to ensure suppliers meet business objectives, and help to maximize supplier value while mitigating risk. **Key Responsibilities:** * Manage a portfolio of Technology suppliers that support blithequark's Air Operations groups * Lead strategic sourcing events, negotiations, and drafting of contracts to maximize supplier value and mitigate risk * Serve as a consultant in Air Operations Technology spend and supplier-related issues * Mentor more junior level Employees in this space to help them grow and develop their skills * Collaborate with cross-functional Teams to ensure suppliers meet business objectives * Analyze data and market trends to inform sourcing decisions and drive business growth * Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a high level of service and value * Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in Technology SCM **Essential Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field * 5+ years of experience in Technology Supply Chain Management, with a focus on category management and strategic sourcing * Proven track record of success in managing complex contracts and supplier relationships * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and market trends * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects * Strong knowledge of Technology SCM principles and practices **Preferred Qualifications:** * Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field * Certification in Supply Chain Management, such as CSCP or CLTD * Experience working in the airline or travel industry * Strong knowledge of cloud-based technologies and software applications * Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI * Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional Teams and drive business growth **Skills and Competencies:** * Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to analyze data and market trends * Strong knowledge of Technology SCM principles and practices * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects * Strong project management skills * Ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders * Strong knowledge of cloud-based technologies and software applications **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits:** At blithequark, we are committed to helping our Employees grow and develop their skills.
