We offer support for all used client applications, operating systems, email, VPN, mobile devices, and common collaboration services such as SharePoint and Exchange. Our customers may engage us via phone, chat, in person, or trouble ticketing. As an IT Operations Manager – Cloud-Based Data Entry and Technical Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing local and/or remote resources and assisting the global organization in defining the perfect customer experience. **Key Responsibilities** As an IT Operations Manager – Cloud-Based Data Entry and Technical Support Specialist, your key responsibilities will include: * Managing local and/or remote resources to ensure seamless IT support for Amazon employees worldwide * Assisting the global organization in defining the perfect customer experience and owning the strategies to create that experience * Helping the group develop and leverage their knowledge base to expedite the resolution of recurrent issues * Identifying ways to proactively reduce requests through automation, documentation, and process improvement * Setting high standards for issue handling, escalation, and problem management across the organization * Guiding the team with metrics and goals that clearly measure their success **Essential Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: * 5 years of experience developing a team of technical professionals across multiple locations * 2 years of experience leading technology teams as an IT Operations Manager * Bachelor's degree, or 4 years of professional or military experience * Knowledge of Linux or Unix systems administration **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications would be highly desirable: * Experience with cloud-based data entry and technical support systems * Familiarity with AWS services and tools * Strong leadership and management skills * Excellent communication and problem-solving skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment **Skills and Competencies** To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: * Strong technical expertise in Linux or Unix systems administration * Excellent leadership and management skills * Strong communication and problem-solving skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment * Strong analytical and critical thinking skills * Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
