**Job Summary**
As a Customer Service Specialist at blithequark, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service to our customers and clients through the placement and monitoring of orders. You will work closely with our Business Development Assistants, Business Development Managers, and other support-related areas to ensure that our customers receive the best possible experience. This is a remote opportunity, and you will have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Performs all tasks for processing orders, verification, and customer service, including:
+ Validating and executing Grocery Products (GP) order processing and scheduling
+ Handling Distress Sale Orders, Will Call Pickups, and Order Auditing
+ Performing all necessary work and tasks to ensure Supply Chain goals and metrics are met
* Oversees a variety of customers, including complex ones, and escalates questions to Supervisor as necessary
* Groups orders for largest truck loads for cost savings and bracket pricing qualification
* Requests appointments for loads as needed
* Groups and trips customer pickup loads
* Addresses any potential order issues and gathers and tracks order details and researches any discrepancies
* Provides timely and thorough communication with clients and customers
* Works within the supply chain to mitigate inventory issues
* Participates in scheduled calls with Hormel/Customer, providing feedback and insight
* Communicates regularly with management, advising on critical issues or opportunities
* Performs some training and vacation/out of office back-up
**Essential Qualifications**
* High School Diploma or GED
* 1-3 years of experience in Customer Service working in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to work independently and prioritize duties with minimal supervision, to accurately execute detailed work to meet deadlines
* Ability to complete multiple duties with accuracy, shifting from one to another with frequent interruptions and competing deadlines
* Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft applications, with an emphasis on Excel, Outlook, and web-browsers
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience working in a supply chain or logistics environment
* Knowledge of Grocery Products (GP) order processing and scheduling
* Familiarity with Distress Sale Orders, Will Call Pickups, and Order Auditing
* Experience working with complex customers and resolving issues
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with others
