Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate ABA/Autism Technician to join our team in the Centennial, CO area. As an ABA/Autism Technician, you will have the opportunity to work closely with children and adolescents on the autism spectrum, providing one-on-one Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy and counseling programs. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality services, working collaboratively with our team, and maintaining a flexible schedule to meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one (1:1) in-home ABA therapy to children and adolescents on the autism spectrum.
  • Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions to inform treatment plans and monitor progress.
  • Implement discrete trials, behavior support, and treatment plans as directed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Supervisor.
  • Work collaboratively with a BCBA Supervisor to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy.
  • Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors, maintaining professionalism in all aspects of your work.
  • Arrive on time and be prepared for therapy sessions, demonstrating a strong commitment to delivering high-quality services.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Experience working with children in a 1:1 setting, preferably in a special education or ABA context.
  • 1-2 years of experience working as a Special Education Assistant, Paraprofessional, Direct Support Professional, Medical Assistant, Autism Experience, Teacher's Assistant, or ABA Tutor in a school or home setting.
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Personal means of transportation with a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift up to 35lbs and perform activities that entail fine and gross motor skills, bend, kneel, squat, sitting on floor level or in a chair, or standing for periods of time.
  • Willingness and ability to work in both indoor and outdoor settings.
