Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Behavior Therapist to join our growing team of professionals. As a Behavior Therapist, you will play a critical role in implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy and counseling programs for children with ASD. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one (1:1) in-home ABA therapy to children with ASD, implementing treatment plans established by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions, using discrete trials and behavior support techniques to promote learning and growth
  • Work collaboratively with a BCBA Supervisor to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy, ensuring high-quality care and support for our clients
  • Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors, maintaining professionalism and a goal-oriented approach in all aspects of your work
  • Arrive on time and be prepared for therapy sessions, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in your schedule to meet the needs of our clients

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or working towards your degree in a related field (Psychology, Education, or Sociology) preferred
  • Experience working with children for 1 year in a 1:1 setting, with a strong focus on behavior support and intervention
  • 1-year ABA experience, or 1-2 years working as a Special Education Assistant, Paraprofessional, Direct Support Professional, Medical Assistant, Autism Experience, Teacher's Assistant, or ABA Tutor in a school or home setting
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong focus on interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Personal means of transportation with a reliable vehicle, ensuring you can travel to client homes and other locations as needed
