Job Summary We're seeking an experienced and skilled Urgent Care Veterinarian to join our team. As a key member of our veterinary staff, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care, communicating effectively with clients, and contributing to the growth and development of our paraprofessional team. Key Responsibilities • Develop rapport with clients, perform physical examinations, and diagnostic/medical procedures to deliver high-quality care for our patients. • Explain physical examination findings and communicate effectively with clients, educating them on preventative healthcare and nutritional products. • Assist in the development of our paraprofessional team to ensure the delivery of exceptional client service and high-quality care. • Participate in ongoing education, seminars, and training to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in veterinary care. • Collaborate with fellow team members, including board-certified specialists, to provide comprehensive care for our patients. • Treat every client like family and each patient like your own pet, embodying our core values of compassion, advancement, respect, excellence, and collaboration. Essential Qualifications • Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited university. • License to practice in the state of Florida, in good standing. • Veterinary experience (3 years preferred), with a background in urgent care or internship training. • Strong communication and decision-making skills, with the ability to work effectively with fellow team members. • Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine, upholding the veterinary code of ethics. Preferred Qualifications • Urgent care experience (1 year preferred) or internship training. • Strong team-player mentality, with a willingness to collaborate and contribute to the growth and development of our team.
