Job Overview
In this role, you will be responsible for accurately entering data from insurance claims and authorization requests submitted by healthcare providers. Your primary goal will be to expedite data entry while maintaining a high level of accuracy, meeting client turnaround times, and collaborating with team members to ensure efficient workflow. This position offers flexible work hours between 8am - 4:30pm CST, with the option to work fully remote, providing you with the autonomy to manage your schedule effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately enter data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests into our system, ensuring adherence to established data entry guidelines.
- Navigate efficiently through imaging software to retrieve claims and authorizations for data entry, differentiating between various claim types and following appropriate guidelines.
- Identify specific document types that require special handling, applying your knowledge and attention to detail to ensure accurate processing.
- Collaborate with team members to complete work in accordance with designated turnaround times, supporting additional workflows as needed due to internal or external requirements.
- Perform quality reviews of other team members' claims/authorizations, providing constructive feedback to ensure consistency and high-quality output.
- Contribute to process improvements by alerting management to potential issues and suggesting recommendations to increase efficiencies.
Qualifications and Requirements
To be a successful candidate for this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: At least 6 months of experience in a data entry or typing-focused role, demonstrating strong data entry/typing skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong data entry/typing skills, with the ability to achieve 8,200 KSPH with a 98% Accuracy Rate.
- Excellent attention to detail, ensuring high accuracy in data entry.
- High degree of accuracy, with the ability to maintain focus and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members, supporting additional workflows as needed.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify potential issues and suggest process improvements.
Assessment and Evaluation
