Job Overview
We're looking for a skilled Remote Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a full-time, seasonal representative, you'll play a vital role in delivering an amazing customer experience, helping to demystify the process of finding and enrolling in health insurance. Your dedication to exceptional customer service, technical support, and problem-solving will be essential in driving our mission forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, delivering the highest level of customer service experience consistently
 - Manage customer accounts, provide technical support, and address customer inquiries via online chat
 - Perform application data entry, interpret and follow defined procedures and policies, and demonstrate creative problem-solving skills
 - Flexibility and adaptability to changing projects and updates, with a focus on time and task management (multitasking and task prioritization)
 - Complete extensive self-study, training, and testing, with eligibility to proceed through training and certifications dependent upon passing required exams
 - Adhere to regulated guidelines for communications via all channels, ensuring compliance and professionalism
 
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need to meet the following requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age
 - Have a minimum internet speed of 35 mb/s, with a dedicated, private, and secure workspace
 - Use a personal laptop or desktop computer for the training period, with cable/fiber broadband internet and a hard-wired ethernet connection (note: mobile internet service providers and satellite are not compatible)
 - Commit to full attendance during the 3-week training period, complete a background check and health screening, and adhere to our internal systems and protocols
 
In terms of qualifications, we're looking for individuals with:
- Moderate to advanced computer skills, with a high level of comfort learning new technology
 - High levels of professionalism, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a self-motivated, success-driven approach
 - Comfort working from home, with a strong ability to manage time and tasks effectively
 
Preferred Experience:
While not required, the following experience is preferred:
- Previous experience in customer support or technical support roles
 - Familiarity with group and/or individual health insurance, or the Affordable Care Act
 - Experience in a call center environment, with knowledge of CRM systems and practices
 - Spanish bilingual skills, which are considered a plus

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
We offer a competitive compensation package, with a base pay of $14.50 per hour, and an enhanced rate of $16.00 per hour contingent on weekly attendance and performance. Spanish bilingual representatives may be eligible for a higher base pay and enhanced rate. Our benefits package includes paid training, 401K match, individual coverage HRA (ICHRA), and paid time off (PTO).
