Job Overview
In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tele-recruiting functions, including contacting blood donors by telephone to recruit for blood donation. You will use a dialer system and multiple computer systems to target appropriate blood drives, update donor records, and record outcomes of calls. Your goal will be to provide a positive service experience, maximize donor show rates, and maintain daily production standards. Key Responsibilities
- Perform tele-recruiting functions to support the defined goals for the Division, including contacting blood donors by telephone to recruit for blood donation
 - Use a dialer system and multiple computer systems to target appropriate blood drives, update donor records, and record outcomes of calls
 - Schedule appointments while providing a positive service experience to maximize donor show rates
 - Follow a process and scripting for conducting calls with donors to ensure a consistent donor experience
 - Maintain daily production standards, including phone calls and appointments per hour, to meet established collection goals
 - Develop a working knowledge of donor criteria to inform donors of eligibility and reduce deferral rates
 - Maintain accurate records of donors/groups contacted and appointments scheduled to avoid errors and ensure sufficient donor availability
 - Respond to or transfer inbound calls to the appropriate party
 - Perform other related duties as assigned, including coordinating support of community and business donor groups
 
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as a minimum of one year of telemarketing, customer service, or call center experience. You should be proficient in using multiple computer applications simultaneously in a fast-paced environment and have excellent customer service and problem-solving skills. Effective verbal communication skills and the ability to work with potentially difficult customers are also essential.
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required

 - Proficient in using multiple computer applications simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
 - Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills

Training and Development
At blithequark, we are committed to providing our employees with the training and development they need to succeed. As a new hire, you will participate in a comprehensive training program, which includes:
Training Schedule
- Week 1: In-house training, Monday to Friday, 7:45 am - 4:30 pm (Monday) and 10:00 am - 6:30 pm (Tuesday to Friday)
 - Week 2: Remote learning at home, Monday to Friday, 10:00 am - 6:30 pm
 - Week 3: Continued remote learning, Monday to Thursday, 10:00 am - 6:30 pm, and production on Friday
 
Work Schedule and Environment
After completing the three-week training program, you will work a full-time schedule, Sunday to Thursday, with hours varying between 11:30 am - 8:00 pm and 12:00 pm - 8:30 pm. You will be working from home, so it is essential that you have a quiet and dedicated workspace with minimal interruptions.
