Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Customer Service Representative to join our team on a part-time basis, working nights and weekends in a remote/hybrid environment. As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be the face of our company, interacting with customers, answering their questions, and providing exceptional support. Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls and respond to customer requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple conversations simultaneously
  • Book appointments for members with a high degree of data accuracy, ensuring seamless communication and follow-up
  • Maintain excellent written and verbal communication skills, providing clear and concise information to customers
  • Identify and escalate issues to supervisors, ensuring prompt resolution and minimizing customer dissatisfaction
  • Adapt to changing guidelines and procedures, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn
  • Inform clients by explaining procedures, answering questions, and providing information, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded
  • Maintain and improve quality results by adhering to standards and guidelines, contributing to the continuous improvement of our customer service operations

Essential Qualifications

  • High school graduate or G.E.D.
  • Minimum of one year experience in an inbound/outbound call center or retail environment (preferred)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to multitask, speaking on the phone, using the computer, and keyboard simultaneously
  • Ability to type at least 25 words per minute (preferred)
  • Experience in providing exceptional customer service and maintaining established quality requirements
  • Must be able to pass a background check

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the home improvement industry or a related field
  • Knowledge of lead management and workflow processes
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other technology platforms
  • Bi-lingual or multi-lingual skills (an asset)
