Job Overview

As a Data Entry Specialist for Alternate Investments at blithequark, you will be responsible for performing daily reconciliation, trade, and transfer tasks. Your primary focus will be on processing trade deal purchases in customer profiles, identifying and addressing breaks recognized between blithequark and fund companies or transfer agents. You will also be responsible for processing corporate activity activities, settling and reconciling transactions, and processing and reconciling returns activity.

Key Responsibilities

• Process trade deal purchases in customer profiles and identify/address breaks recognized between blithequark and fund companies or transfer agents
• Process corporate activity activities, settle and reconcile transactions, and process and reconcile returns activity
• Analyze complex/escalated issues and perform testing/validation of new technology enhancements and provider changes
• Complete projects in Trading, Dividends, Transfers, Reconciliation, and Corporate Actions that directly impact the Client/Advisor profile
• Collaborate with Retail and Institutional Service Teams using email, phone, Slack, Outlook, and Salesforce
• Interact with fund companies, transfer agents, counterparties, and other external business partners to resolve issues and provide exceptional service

• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance procedures, including 2340 and 15C3-3
• Experience with technology enhancements and provider changes, with the ability to test and validate new systems and processes
• Strong understanding of tax coding and corrections, with the ability to review and analyze correct tax coding and corrections of income tax coding
