About the Position

We are seeking an exceptionally talented and passionate Chat Support Associate to join our growing team. As a key member of our support team, you will engage with our vibrant community of veterinary professionals, providing them with exceptional support and guidance as they navigate our platform. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure a positive and delightful day-to-day experience for every user, addressing their inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to evolve our platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to user inquiries via live chat, email, and phone in a timely and professional manner, providing accurate and helpful solutions to their problems
  • Troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively, explaining complex scenarios and solutions in a clear and concise manner
  • Handle various daily and weekly administrative responsibilities, such as proactive account management, item issue reports, item reviews, credit approvals, and more
  • Collaborate with our engineering, partner, and corporate teams to provide valuable insights and recommendations for enhancing our tools and features
  • Work with vendor and industry partners to streamline communication and alerts between systems, ensuring seamless integration and support
  • Contribute to the development and expansion of our support processes, streamlining workflows and improving overall efficiency

Essential Qualifications

  • 1 year of relevant, customer-facing work experience, preferably in a support or service-oriented role
  • 2-year Associate's degree or 4-year College degree, or equivalent experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and solutions clearly and concisely
  • Experience with chat support or other customer-facing platforms is strongly preferred
  • Patient and compassionate, with a strong ability to handle difficult situations and provide empathetic support
  • Able to adapt quickly to changing priorities and manage multiple concurrent responsibilities
  • A strong desire to learn and help our customers succeed, with a positive attitude and a team-oriented mentality

Preferred Qualifications

  • Tech or start-up work experience, with a strong understanding of innovative technologies and platforms
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a proven ability to thrive in a rapidly changing landscape
  • Knowledge of the animal health industry or veterinary profession, with a passion for supporting the critical work of veterinarians and veterinary professionals
