**Key Responsibilities**
As an Experienced Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences that drive loyalty and retention. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Providing exceptional customer service in a positive and approachable manner, ensuring that every customer feels valued and appreciated.
* Assisting customers with selection of merchandise, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
* Maintaining a clean, well-stocked store environment that meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
* Helping to unload merchandise from delivery trucks, organizing merchandise, and transporting merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor.
* Independently stocking shelves and recovering merchandise in the store, ensuring that products are accurately priced and displayed.
* Accurately handling customer funds and processing transactions using the POS system, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Remaining constantly aware of customer activity to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment, preventing loss and minimizing risk.
* Performing all other duties as assigned to maintain an effective and profitable store operation.
**Position Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
* Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; ability to follow directives and interpret retail operational documents as assigned.
* Experience: Prefer experience working in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments; ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
* Physical Requirements: Ability to regularly lift up to 40lbs. (and occasionally, up to 55lbs.) from floor level to above shoulder height; must be able to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
* Availability: Ability to work a flexible, full-time schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays; must be available to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
