Student Pastor (Lakeside Campus)
Family Church Lakeside is one campus of a multi campus church in three languages in Central Florida, just miles from Disney and Universal. About 700 people gather at our campus each weekend from many ages, backgrounds, and stages of faith. We are more than
a crowd. We are a community of believers doing life together. Family Church is known for a missional mindset, biblical teaching, and strong discipleship for every age.
We are seeking a full time Student Pastor to lead ministry for grades six to twelve at our campus. You will disciple students, build and equip teams, and partner with parents as the primary disciple makers. Help students believe in God,
belong to His family, and live beyond themselves through serving and missions.
Below is a breakdown of the role.
• Provide leadership and serve as a shepherd to the Lakeside Campus Student ministry team.
• Effectively communicate a vision for student ministry aligned with the church’s overall vision.
• Oversee, plan, and coordinate annual Student Ministry programs/events including camps, retreats, and special events.
• Follow the philosophy of Student Ministry for Family Church and make it fit into the environment of the Lakeside Campus.
• Recruit, train, and inspire both paid and volunteer staff to grow in their gifting and calling to serve students and their families.
• Develop strategies to welcome and support new families to the Student ministry and the church.
What We’re Looking For
We seek a high-capacity leader with strong character and deep love for Jesus:
• Undergraduate degree required; theological training a plus.
• 3–5 years of proven student ministry leadership (65+ students).
• A passionate, Spirit-led follower of Jesus with a strong biblical foundation.
• A gifted communicator who can connect with students and parents.
• A highly relational leader who builds teams and empowers others.
• A self-starter with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• A ministry-minded team player with a sense of humor and a heart for the next generation.
• Demonstrated integrity, humility, and spiritual maturity.
• Ability to pass background checks and complete child protection training.
Work Schedule
• On-campus: Monday–Thursday (9:00 AM–4:00 PM)
• Wednesday nights (5:00–8:00 PM)
• Sunday mornings (8:00 AM–12:30 PM)
• Participation in staff meetings and church-wide events is expected.
