  • Ongoing Assessment & Data‑Driven Instruction
    • Conduct formal and informal assessments (e.g., curriculum‑based measurements, performance tasks, observation logs) to gauge student progress.
    • Analyze assessment data to refine instructional approaches and report outcomes to families and district stakeholders.
  • Student Support & Care
    • Deliver direct instruction, therapeutic interventions, and skill‑building activities tailored to each student’s IEP.
    • Provide personal care, medical assistance, and feeding support as outlined in the IEP, maintaining the highest standards of safety and dignity.

  • Behavior Management & Crisis Intervention
    • Establish positive behavior support plans that reflect each student’s social‑emotional needs.
    • Respond effectively to crisis situations, applying de‑escalation techniques and, when necessary, safe physical restraint procedures in accordance with IEP guidelines and district policy.
  • Family & Community Communication
    • Maintain open, respectful communication channels with parents and guardians through regular conferences, progress reports, and digital updates.
