Job Overview and Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Intern, Reservations to join our team for the summer of 2025. As an internal consultant for Reservations, you will work on semester-long projects that drive divisional strategies and goals. Your projects will require collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and propose solutions to improve both the customer and specialist experience. You will utilize your strong critical thinking and interpersonal skills to conduct activities such as:

  • Tracking and analyzing channel performance to identify areas for improvement
  • Resolving product and project issues and risks to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Performing extensive data analysis and collection to inform business decisions
  • Identifying process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and effectiveness

These large and complex projects may contain highly confidential material and present moderate financial risk. Your final project deliverable will be a capstone presentation to division leaders, highlighting project lessons learned, impacts made, and recommendations for future improvements.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Be currently pursuing a bachelor's degree
  • Not be enrolled in classes during the duration of the program
  • Be able to work 14 consecutive weeks
  • Be able to come into Corporate Headquarters in Atlanta 2-3 times a week
  • Be a strong team player, detail-oriented, and perform well under pressure
  • Convey a professional image to all levels of associates
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Be proficient in MS Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Be willing to travel as required
  • Prioritize safety and security of self, others, and personal data
  • Embrace diverse people, thinking, and styles
  • Possess a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
  • Be at least 18 years of age and have authorization to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

To have a competitive edge, you should:

  • Possess technical skills, with an emphasis on SQL and any programming language
  • Have completion or pursuit of Database, Basic Programming, User Interface courses
  • Have experience in previous corporate environments in part-time or full-time capacity
  • Have knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)

Skills and Competencies

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. You should be able to work effectively in a team environment and be comfortable with ambiguity and change. You should also be proficient in MS Office applications and have experience with data analysis and project management tools.
