Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate directly with the sales team to design Magna5 solutions that meet client needs, acting as the technical subject matter expert on customer calls and solutions presentations.
• Determine the technical requirements to meet client goals and act as a liaison between the sales/business development and engineering teams throughout the pre-sales process until a deal is closed.
• Scope technical solutions to meet customer requirements, assess customer needs, and recommend Magna5 solutions to optimize value.
• Coordinate closely with internal sales, sales support, and technical engineering teams to align the solution design with client requirements.
• Provide coaching to team members and sales associates to enhance their product knowledge, technical acumen, and technical sales skills.
• Monitor technical solutions proposed throughout the sales process to identify potential risks of deal closure.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Some network experience is preferred, but not required.
• A minimum of 5 years of IT engineering or sales engineer experience, with a focus on designing, implementing, and managing complex IT solutions, systems, or services.
• A strong understanding of IT infrastructure technology best practice standards and the ability to communicate this knowledge effectively.
• A history of working in a team-oriented setting, with excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Professional level engineering certifications equivalent to VMware VCP, Microsoft MCSE, or Cisco CCNP are highly valued.
• The ability to present, demo, design, and review proposed Magna5 solutions with clients, as well as act as a liaison between multiple product teams to design and sell Magna5 solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with managed IT services, cybersecurity, cloud hosting, backup and disaster recovery, and other advanced IT services.
• Familiarity with the latest trends and technologies in the IT industry, including cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things (IoT).
• Excellent presentation and demonstration skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
