Your expertise will help us enable digital transformation, increase operational efficiencies, meet new regulatory requirements, support advanced analytics, and promote end-user analytic self-service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement enterprise data standards, working closely with business stakeholders, EDO leadership, data management associates, and IT resources.
  • Collaborate with a team of offshore analysts to perform data analysis across a variety of systems, identify data quality issues, determine root causes behind variances, provide resolution, and build routines for monitoring, based on data management best practices.
  • Track and document data element lineage, record metadata, and contribute to data dictionaries and business glossaries.
  • Lead the development of key performance indicators, reports, scorecards, and dashboards that supply the enterprise with data performance results.
  • Support architectural strategies designed to enhance data reliability and minimize redundancies.
  • Deliver data analysis training as needed to relevant stakeholders.

  • At least 7 years of related work experience in data analysis, data governance/management, data warehousing, or database administration.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst, ideally in the Property and Casualty Insurance industry.
  • Experience working with offshore resources is preferred.
  • Extensive experience profiling and analyzing data in mainframe and relational databases is essential; experience with non-relational databases is a plus.
  • Advanced SQL and Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience using tools and processes for the collection, analysis, and remediation of data quality issues; newer approaches in identifying data quality problems (e.g., machine learning, neural networks) are a plus.
  • Experience using data dictionaries, glossaries, and lineage-tracking tools.
  • Experience building reports in tools such as MicroStrategy, Qlikview, Power BI, Tableau, etc.
  • Knowledge of best practices in data management, data governance, master data management, metadata management, and business intelligence.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
