Key Responsibilities:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a transcriptionist or editor, preferably in the legal industry, with a portfolio of work that showcases your attention to detail, language skills, and ability to think contextually.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to think logically and research thoroughly, ensuring accuracy and quality in all work products.
  • Familiarity with legal terminology and jargon, as well as general court procedures and methodology, allowing you to navigate complex legal documents with ease.

Preferred Qualifications:

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • AAERT (American Association of Electronic Reporters and Transcribers) Certified Electronic Transcriber (CET) or similar certification, demonstrating expertise and commitment to the field of transcription.
