As a Manager of Category and Channel Strategy, you'll play a critical role in driving business growth and success, working closely with our Corporate Commercial Leadership Team, PRGM, Key Accounts, and Division Directors. **Key Responsibilities** As a Manager of Category and Channel Strategy, your primary responsibilities will include: * Developing and executing category and channel strategies that align with customer expectations and goals * Establishing strategies that create winning outcomes for customers and the organization, maximizing potential for each category and channel * Working with the Commercial Team and Division Managers to align strategies with commercial plans and marketing programs * Creating marketplace execution expectations and pictures of success for channels and categories, including for specific customers * Monitoring and tracking category and channel performance against organization and customer goals * Analyzing results and sharing numbers and making recommendations to the Vice President of Sales * Collaborating with PRGM to determine gross profit opportunities * Staying up-to-date on information and technology affecting functional areas * Maintaining professional team relationships with coworkers and customers, including on-time follow-through on commitments **Essential Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you'll need: * A Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business with 5-10 years of experience in a similar industry * Microsoft Office proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, with a high level of autonomy and accountability * Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of business concepts and issues * Ability to adapt to change in the workplace, with a flexible and agile mindset **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications would be highly desirable: * Experience in category and channel strategy, with a proven track record of developing and executing winning plans * Strong knowledge of sales and marketing principles, with a deep understanding of customer behavior and market trends * Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm * Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others to perform well * Experience working with cross-functional teams, with a high level of collaboration and communication skills **Skills and Competencies** To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and competencies: * Business acumen: ability to grasp and understand business concepts and issues * Communication: ability to effectively, clearly, and concisely communicate verbally and in writing * Confidentiality: ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality at all times * Decision making: ability to make critical decisions while following company practices * Delegation: ability to delegate work, give authority to work independently, set expectations, and monitor delegated activities * Enthusiasm: ability to bring energy to the day-to-day as well as long-term tasks and plans * Judgment: ability to make timely decisions and exhibit sound and accurate judgment * Leadership: ability to inspire and motivate others to perform well;
