Job Summary

We're on the hunt for a skilled Marketing and Communications Associate to help us expand our digital footprint, increase awareness of our products and services, and promote our proud corporate culture across diverse stakeholder groups. As a part-time remote team member, you'll have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own space while contributing to the growth and success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Digital Content Creation: Develop engaging content for our LinkedIn platform, including articles, updates, and other relevant materials that showcase our expertise and thought leadership.
  • Corporate Engagement: Manage our corporate presence on LinkedIn, fostering relationships with relevant organizations and individuals, and staying up-to-date on industry trends and news.
  • Website Content Management: Proactively update our website content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and consistency with our brand messaging.
  • Marketing Campaigns: Design, implement, and evolve marketing campaigns to achieve our business objectives, working independently and collaboratively with our team.
  • Project Management: Take ownership of projects, prioritize assignments, and manage multiple priorities to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.

Minimum Qualifications

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:

  • Experience and Education: 5+ years of experience and education in marketing for the government contract community, with a strong understanding of the industry's nuances and challenges.
  • Self-Direction and Independence: A self-starter with the ability to work independently, design, implement, and evolve marketing campaigns, and make decisions that align with our business objectives.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with management, stakeholders, and team members to achieve our goals.
  • Attention to Detail and Prioritization: A detail-oriented individual with the ability to handle multiple priorities, manage competing deadlines, and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Emotional Intelligence and Work Ethic: Strong emotional intelligence, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team Orientation: A team-oriented individual who can function independently, take ownership of projects, and prioritize assignments to achieve our business objectives.
  • U.S. Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen to comply with government regulations and requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

We're looking for candidates with the following preferred qualifications:

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, digital/graphic software such as Adobe Illustrator, WordPress, Canva, or equivalent tools, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the national/homeland security and government consulting industry, with a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities in this space.

Job Type and Schedule

This is a part-time remote opportunity, with expected hours ranging from 10 to 20 per week. The schedule is Monday to Friday, with flexibility to work from the comfort of your own space.
